Ok if you like horror you like Clive Barker. That is what originally sparked my interest. There just isn't enough playable horror games out there. So let's get down to it. I will try to leave personal preference out as much as I can.
If you are interested in this game for the PC there is a must have. A good processor! My laptop barely makes the rated processor speed to enjoy playing this game.....Don't Waste Your Time if your processor doesn't surpass the minimum requirement for gameplay. Every time I get in a battle the entire thing slows way down because there is to much going on.
With that said, the game is very playable. It is always in first person. It is basically a shooter. There is some cut scenes that you have to press the appropriate buttons to succeed which is a nice mix-up. There are plenty of cut scenes to watch between areas of gameplay. One thing that is unique about the game is how you can interact with characters around you.
You are basically the "Jericho" team. You have to play together as a team, similar to war games that are out there. The cool part about it is that you get to jump from person to person. With that said, you get to play with many different weapons and cool extras(your a band of witches sort of). So you don't have 50 weapons to toggle through, and if you die or fail in what you are doing, another character can pick up your pace.
The music is awesome. The sound effects are good but lack slightly on the dynamics. There is different levels of gameplay from easy to hard. There is also good cheat codes. The enemies are creapy but could use alot more variety. Overall, the game makes up for it's downfalls with a creepy horror vibe to it......
