Brutal!!!!

This is one of the best horror games out there,not because of how scary it was but it actually had a good ending which is rare in a horror game.I give it a 9.5/10

Graphics:10/10 Amazing detail and characters look as they should.But the thing that stood out the most besides the main character was the enemies because they were mutilated and infected,you could see the tears in their skin and the lumps and other things on their hideously deformed bodies.When you die or an enemy dies or gets a limb or head severed,instead of simply seeing it fall off you see the flesh tear and spew blood everywhere.

Gameplay:9.5/10 Extremely fun gameplay.You had the choice to walk or run instead of being forced to walk.The guns were amazing and fun to master the art of dismembering limbs and severing heads with a precise shot to cause extra damage.Not to mention getting used to using the Kinesis powers,as well as the stasis power(which can be your best friend).The movements of the character were fluid and well executed as well as really awesome such as the counter attacks for when an enemy latches on to you and tries to kill you.

Story:10/10 Amazing story,not incredibly long,although it is much longer than typical horror games and had a the perfect horror ending instead of: everyone dies,the enemies whatever it may be will come back again and you will be another hero that will also most likely die.

Replayability:7/10 This game has fairly low replay value unless you like to get the achievements,other than that there is nothing else to do once you beat the game unless you wish to master the hardest difficulty that you unlock.

Sound:10/10 Sound was great,the sound of tearing flesh was perfect,the sounds of movement was perfect,and the enemies sounds were phenomenal.

Overall:9.5/10 If you are into to games where you walk around in the dark and fight strange creatures and are constantly just trying to survive as well as conserve ammo,this is a must have.

Game of the year 2008!!!!!

The best sci-fi third person shooter I have ever played.
