XBox 360 » Fallout 3 » Reviewsbest game i will ever ownReviewed by cloud97 on October 09, 2008 | report this review i honostly think fallout 3 will be the "killer app" of this year. i mean, who wouldnt love free-roaming in a post apocalyptic wasteland? another plus, this game was made by the peeps at bethesda, so you can already tell its gonna be sotra like oblivion with guns. i was also very happy when they moved the release date from nov. 7 to oct. 28. The only con i have is that because of austalias stuipedness, the drugs were taken out of the game. Not too simualer to OblivionThis game is not a futuristic Oblivion. There are some simularities but a lot of differances. In Fallout 3 you can use a bunch of differant guns in Oblivion there aren't any guns. And the feel of the game is also differant. In Oblivion sometimes you just want to stop and look around, take in the enviroment. In Fallout 3 Although the graphics are great you want to get away, which isn't a bad thing because you're playing in a ruined D.C. Fighting at first will be hard because your guns are in bad condition and you don't have much ammo but eventually it gets easier, it takes less ammo to kill an enemy because you're accuracy is better. Plus you will find better shops that have more ammo to buy. The story is great. The music is alright but not awesome. Deffinately makes my top fifteenReviewed by cormaster9000 on January 23, 2009 | report this review This game was simply amazing. I found the story to be good and the gameplay even better. The environment really set the tone and pace for the game which was purely chaotic in most cases. They deffinately got the post-nuclear war look down to the t. I have almost no complaints. However, even though this game was amazing it lacked in the ending. It didnt end with a bang, but rather a wimper. I was soo disappointed, but at the same time satisfied. If it werent for that, this would be top ten material. Regardless, I will still replay this several times because it's impossible to get the full experiance of the game from just one go. Amazing RPGReviewed by exodus2424 on January 26, 2009 | report this review ****WARNING MAY CONTAIN MILD SPOILERS!**** First off let me say that this is an amazing game and deserves Game of the Year Award. If you don't have this, get it or at least rent it. Gameplay:10/10 Amazing gameplay.Simple to master, yet fun to use.It made it simple to play for people who don't play games that much, but still fun for those people who play games all the time. The weapons were easy to use in general but with V.A.T.S. you could get a bit more complex and aim at certain points of there body and blow it straight off of there body. The enemies were great too. They were all mutated and seemed like they were actually mutated enemies, not aliens from another planet. Sound:10/10 The sounds in the game were just as amazing as the gameplay was. There was a decent sound track that made you feel like all those small seemingly pointless encounters with enemies actually had a reason to occur. The sounds of the enemies was great while the voice-overs were excellent.Another great thing about the sound was that when you blow someones head off you don't hear a simple pop or the sound of blood squirting, you hear flesh rip, tear, and shred. Graphics:10/10 Some of the best graphics around.Every little detail was great. They really got the post-apocolyptic part perfect.Everything was in shambles,no one had real money, and many items were scarce. No complaints in the graphics section. Story:8.75/10 The story was great until the ending. It was filled with reason, and cause and effect. The way things played out was based on your karma.Good or Evil. You choose.Every action has a consequence and the story is shaped by your choices. The reason I say it was good until the ending is because instead of finishing the game with a tough boss fight and a cool cinematic cutscene, you finish with a weak boss and a terrible cutscene that is not really a cutscene but a narraration that basically tells what you did(good or evil) and what the consequence was.Other than that it was a great story. ****I give this game "Game of the Year Award"****
