Solid football game...Reviewed by i_love_games11 on October 28, 2006 | report this review I usually buy Madden every year, but this year I decided to rent it. After playing Madden for eleven days I was beginning to get that typical Madden feeling you get after several games (boredom). iMy local game stop was running a deal. You could trade in any 2 xbox 360 games and get 1 for $10. So I thought what the heck I have to finish my season I started, but thought to myself why put yourself thru the pain. Instead of getting Madden 07 I decide to give Saints Row a shot. Well unfortunetly they were all out of it. So then I picked up Madden and headed toward the counter. When I got to the counter something stopped me and said give NCAA a shot. Since I've never bought the college game and always went with Madden, and Madden has been putting a bad taste in my mouth for several years now. I must say that I enjoy the College game much more than Madden. The gameplay in my opinion is much better. The pace of the game is much better. The animations are outstanding, and the feeling you get from the stadium surroundings really makes you feel like your a part of that college. I love recruiting and redshirting. I haven't been this fired up about a football game in a long time. After playing a few games on the next to the hardest difficulty to get the feel for a realistic quarter length and penalty settings I'm ready to go. I can't wait to get off work tonite and get ready to take ND on a legendery collegiant run. Freakin LOVE this franchiseReviewed by zetehitman on December 02, 2006 | report this review I love the NCAA Football franchise. The 360 version is different than the PS2 version. It looks better, has more features, has a cleaner look to it. The only thing that I was disappointed with was the fact that they took away the noise level feature. You can still get the home crowd pumped up, but it doesnt shake the screen or cause any noticeable difference in gameplay. Other than that, this is another great installment of the NCAA football series. Great, but...Reviewed by andy4theherd on January 06, 2007 | report this review This game is very fun, but the 360 version is missing soo much from the other consoles. Only the "BIG" name schools get their real stadiums, no Race for the Heisman mode, and a watered down recruiting mode are all missing. Look for next years version to be the best ever! A poor attemptReviewed by cheeznrice on February 06, 2007 | report this review I'm a little annoyed with EA making poor efforts with some of their 360 titles. I've owned the 2004, 2005 and 2006 versions of the game for ps2 and loved them. They cut so many features in the 360 version...I was extremely disappointed that I payed more for the 360 version and got a LOT less. I played 5 games, 3 of which froze. I checked the boards and this wasn't happening to just me. Needless to say, I got rid of this version and picked it up for the ps2 and enjoy it way more. The depth of everything in the ps2 more than make up for the current gen graphics. My advice, its a great game, but if you can try to get it for a different console if you want some substance. DecentReviewed by viperxsniper on February 28, 2007 | report this review After playing this game, I thought it was the first attempt EA made to make a sports game on the next gen console. However, there still are a few problems I have with the game. First off, why did EA still cut the good stuff out of the PS2 and Xbox version and give us another great graphic stripped down game. I mean come on, no Campus Legend mode. EA had the same amount of time as the other system to add in stuff and yet they still give us a stripped down version.
