XBox 360 » Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter » ReviewsGreat GameReviewed by MauroAC on September 17, 2006 | report this review This game is great as a single player. You gotta play to believe the graphics. It was challenging and fun!!!! Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced WarfighterReviewed by NextLevel on October 23, 2006 | report this review If you like battlefield2 or call of duty2, you might like this game. More like battlefield2 then call of duty2 though. Alot of options/moves. Masterpeice!Reviewed by i_love_games11 on October 27, 2006 | report this review Ghost Recon Advanced War Fighter is a great 3rd person shooter and more.... Plus its not based on World War II which is great, since there are thousands of war world II games already out... In G.R.A.W you take the role of Scot Mitchel a captain of an elite group called "ghosts" and mexican rebels are trying to take power over the world... You of course have to stop the Mexican rebels and save the world.... During which you, capture generals, destroy buildings, recover wounded soilders, and even control tanks and helicopters! Plus the new interface makes this game an enjoyable experience of future war fare. The story takes place in 2012, and Mexican rebels are trying to hack into other countries nuclear bombs and take over the world! You, Scot Mitchel plays an important role in this great 3rd person shooter.... The graphics is a "major" role in this game, in my opinion its the best looking game to date... From when you destroy buildings, to when you kill enemies this game looks great, even if you dont have a HD TV, it still looks like a true next-gen game.... Its showing how powerful the 360 really is. The sound is another great feature that this game has.... The music is really great, you feel very heroic once you destroy an important enemy base and you hear this kind of music, you just have to experience it yourself to know what im talking about. Besides the music everything else sounds realistic, from when you shoot enemies, to just running around. Again this game gains alot of points for the sound. This game is another must have for any gamer.... I havent even covered the online yet! great gameReviewed by keaton7676 on November 01, 2006 | report this review After basically inventing the tactical shooter genre, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six franchise branched out from its embassy-storming, silenced weapons, counter-terrorist roots to focus on more overt military operations undertaken by a special squad known as the Ghosts. The first title, Ghost Recon, was a spectacular success garnering much praise and even a game of the year award from the sexiest website in the business. There were a few decent expansion packs but gamers waiting for a full sequel had to follow the franchise to the consoles. Our hopes for Ghost Recon 2 were flattened when Ubisoft announced they'd be canceling the title to focus on, get this, Ghost Recon 3 Awesome MultiplayerReviewed by NYJets5 on December 06, 2006 | report this review This is just a great game all around. The single player missions are a lot more involved than the multiplayer, but the multiplayer is still great. Playing anywhere from one to four players on the same screen makes for a lot of fun, as long as you have a big TV. Multiplayer for the winReviewed by xbanhxbaox on December 09, 2006 | report this review online play on this thing is just sexy. Graphics are very nice and online play is very smooth. People actually die when you shoot them unlike some other previous games i've played. Very fun to play online with your buddies. Very good gameReviewed by WARDOGG369 on December 30, 2006 | report this review this game is amazing, the online features are very good and the graphics are ridiculous. It's a very challenging game becuase people are so good, but very fun. A must have for your 360 lib. Short DescriptionReviewed by gameguide on March 10, 2007 | report this review In Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 3, players will embody Captain Scott Mitchell as he commands the Ghosts and Special Forces allies equipped with the IWS (Integrated Warfighter System) in the quest to save the president of the United States, recover stolen nuclear codes and eliminate a vicious band of renegade soldiers hell-bent on unleashing catastrophe. The game unfolds entirely in Mexico City, where numerous, meticulously researched and detailed environments will deliver complete immersion into the future of urban warfare Short but SweetReviewed by steve_hogg on March 16, 2007 | report this review For single player action, this game is pretty good. Starts off with a bit of a training mission to help get adjusted to some of the controls. Phew, there's a lot of them. The game is graphically very good, good attention to detail. Overall was a good game and fun to play. Only tried multiplayer a few times but didn't like the way it was structured, even though multiplayer gameplay was still good. Ghost Recon Advanced WarfighterReviewed by moopie770 on April 02, 2007 | report this review I thought that this was a very good 360 game. It was the first one I got, and I cannot wait for GRAW 2. I loved the campaign and multiplayer setup. The only thing I did not like was the slight lack of weapon choice on campaign. Also, the landscape did not really resemble a warzone either. Otherwise this is a very good game. The Best Updated War GameReviewed by tuck179 on June 30, 2007 | report this review Graphics- This is the best looking Graphics on the 360. The characters move so well and life-like and the enviroments are truly stunning. The graphics will make you feel awesome when you play this game. Graphics get a 5/5. Gameplay- The game play can be wierd at first but you will definately get it real quick. The hud vision is an awesome idea and very useful in this game. It will really help you and prove to be a key part of this game. Gameplay gets a 5/5. Storyline- The storyline is all that it can be in this game. I did tend to forget about the story and just want to play. The story is neat and very understandable, just not to interesting. The gameplay is all that matters. Storyline gets a 4/5. Online- Online is very good on the 360. There are many people on and it runs very smoothly. You will really enjoy it. Online gets a 5/5. Still a great gameReviewed by 360wiigamer on July 12, 2007 | report this review This was one of the first great games on 360 along with Oblivion. The game is over a year old now, but it still holds up as one of the best shooters on the 360. If you are looking for a realistic army shooter, this is the game for you. A Spectacular Tactical FPSThis game is incredible! It offers so much and feels so different than many games I have played. The main highlights which seperate this game from other FPS is the ability to control a battle. Many times throughout the game, you are in control of several units including a group of soldiers, tanks and even an Apache helicopter. For instance, on one level, I sent the unit of soldiers behind a wall in order to flank a group of guys while I told the tank to charge up the middle and the Apache to fly overhead and take out another enemy tank that was hiding around the corner. Meanwhile, I floated up to the top of a hill with my sniper rifle... and picked off the rest! This is just one example of the kind of control you get to have over so many aspects of this game. Another example of how complex this game is: I encountered many situations that proved difficult. I couldn't seem to get the upperhand on some of the levels and kept dying. It occurred to me that I was not utilizing my men in the correct manner. I made some adjustments (ie: ordered them to attack at the head while I snuck around the corner and flanked the enemy). This was what is needed out of you when you play this game. Afterall, it's not called a "tactical shooter" for nothing! 30 second reviewReviewed by jachensnc on August 17, 2007 | report this review Graphics- 10 Gameplay- 10 Story- 9.0 Replay value - 8.5 Great game! Probably best in the franchise!! Dont like itI doid not like this gamebut but i will not give it a zero because its ok but i dont like it. One of the Best Shooters on the 360Reviewed by MetalPunkA7X on January 28, 2008 | report this review I love this game for two reasons. Squad based, and fun. The action comes from the begining to the very end. I also like the multiplayer aspect of this game. Who knew that a game like this would be as good as it was. Besides the fact that I picked this up after Call of Duty 4 lessened its fun factor, but it was a good experiece overall! AHH It aint my gameReviewed by birdmanperri on February 22, 2008 | report this review Thought It might be as fun as Call of Duty, but Nope I like Call of Duty Better. |
