Almost There

Having to live up to the PC version was a great task, but Half-Life 2 for the Xbox managed to pull it off; or at least the main point. With a great range of weapons, enemies, and environments to play in, this game is extremely addictive. Only one thing really stops this game from being perfect, and that's it's frame rate. Most of the time it kind of struggles, and during big shootouts like with the stryders it just dies. But other than that, and the fact that there is no multiplayer of any kind, the single player campaign is enough to give this game the definite knod, that is unless you've played it on the PC; in which case you would have to be a really big fan of console shooters to pursue.

well its pretty good, sept i wish you could see your feet when u walk, its wierd feels like your just floating, its kool cause u can pick up 90% of the objects in the game but like he has no arms, they just hover in front of you =[ kinda gay, it loads every 3 seconds it feels like. that is annoying as hell, and it gets really repetative, like your just doing the same thing over and over and over, so yea..its fun but just not my kinda game really i like first person shooters but not boring ones...worth getting though

Excellent game. One weapon lets you pick up large items and fire them with great force. Nothing like a steel barrel flying at high speed and smashing your opponent.
There is also a bit of strategy in the game. Having other npc's "join" you, give them orders for tactical play.
The vehicle levels were pretty cool too.

So Very Very Sweet

This game is a must buy for any video gamer, that is ok to play this game. But this is my second favorite game that tied with my other second favorite NFS: Most Wanted Black Edition. But the graphics are life like, the weapons are real, and orginal. The storyline is very, very awesome, even though I have not played Half Life 1 or 3 yet. , but anybody can still play this game without playing the first game.If you like video games this you must buy this one.

Got some free time? Definitly pick up this game, it's got amazing graphics, physics, weapons, vehicles, level design and so much more. Totally worth a purchase.

Dissapointing

I can can honestly say, the 8 dollars (no lie) that I spent on this game on ebay was a waste. A little bit of the game is cool action, good graphics, and playing fetch with a giant robot dog retrieving giant boxes n shit(seriously, that was my favorite part). Anyways, the other 75 percent is trying to find ridiclious ways out of whack ass levels with randomly placed pain in the ass aliens trying to munch on your ass. I have a lot of patiance, but this game just focuses too much on getting out of places any idiot could get out of, but you cant in the game. instead of climbing a fence, you have to accuaratly do something stupid and miniscule to cause a gay chain reaction that involves a crowbar(wtf) to make a gate open that the crowbar could have realistically opened in the first place. Unless the "trapped" thing gets you in in a game, than this isnt the game for you. Cool physics and gun battles though.

I liked it. Its a good game. I just wish that it would let you bring weapons back to other levels with you after you beat the game, cause it would be fun to go back to begining with the grav gun from the end. Beatable in a day or 2.
