An update on the time-honored MARIO KART racing games, this one stars all of the familiar faces from days bygone: Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Peach, Toad, Wario, and Donkey Kong. Choose to play as any of the aforementioned characters as you speed around classic and brand-new tracks. If you're feeling combative, try out the creative weaponry (mushrooms, bananas, thunder bolts, and stars) in Battle mode. Up to four players can battle it out. though i havent played mariokart ds it probably leaves this'n to choke on the dust
great graphics, gameplay, and music
there are many obstacles though
but its just a really great game

These are great for beating your times:
In Ribbon Road (under Star Cup) and Cheese Land (under Flower Cup), use a mushroom on the FIRST red/yellow bridge jump and quickly veer off to the right. If you do this correctly, you'll end up 5 or 6 seconds farther along in the tracks.
