I played it a tmy friend's house, it doesn't invoke the classic/heart-warming feelings you get playing red or blue version, but it's a fresh experience. What adds to the game is that it's a completely revamped version of Ruby/Sapphire, with new bugs fixed (bugs that are BAD, not a good bug like Missingno.), new pokemon that are available to be caught (like MEW and DEOXYS), and more trainers/few more side quest-ishes.

Overall would be a good buy.

Full of action, and similar to Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, but overall a good game. Have alot of Pokemon to catch, and get a few surprises for completed tasks. Pretty much the same storyline as the other two games, but there are more unlockables in this game and there are a few new things that have been added that ARE not in Ruby and Sapphire. I hate to admit it but I am HOOKED!

This game is basically Ruby/Saphire with a slightly better plot and the Battle Frontier. R/S were great games, though, so if you didn't play either of them or are a hardcore Pokemon fan, you should get this game.

I loved this game! it was more harder than Fire red and leaf green! it also had new things in there like The POKENAV
and the new POOKE'BALLS like the Timer'ball and repeat'ball! i suggest You play it if you love hard games

This is probably the best Pokemon game out there, and with new balls, new items, and a wide range of Pokemon any RPG fan should pick it up. The Battle Frontier at the end also adds many many hours of replay value, and you can always find something to do in the game. Only complaints wold be the sound is kind of annoying and also if you havent played Pokemon before it is rather hard. Though it says 4 stars, thats only because I cant give it a 4.5, or I would

One of the best Pokemon games EVER! this version beats ruby/sapphire combined. better graphics, font, plot, items. it just needs a tiny bit more action, though.

its an all out great game you can get all three of the legendary pokemon on that without trading but the only thing bad is the gym and trainer battles their not smart or not smart enough but still its awsome

If you love pokemon you will love this game. It has pokemon from all three generations. you will just have to forget the fact that it does not have many pokemon that are in most of the other games. if you played pokemon for the excitment of the battle then youll be happy cause it has more trainers and more double battles.

if you like pokemon games i know you will like this game. you get to fight the gym leaders more after you beat the league and get to go to the battle frontier. you have to beat each one to get a gold symbol. you can get jirachi and deoxys. in the battle frontier you can get two rare pokemon, sudowoodo and smeargle. there are many more pokemon that you can catch.you get to catch kyogre groudon and rayquaza. this is one of my favorite games and probably yours. this is one of the best pokemon games there is. this game rocks.

It was a good game but the only thing I didn't like is how it was almost repetitive from Ruby and Sapphire with only minor changes to the plot and towns.

I would have liked to see something else happen in the storyline where it would have slightly changed it from the previous two games.

But if you don't mind beating the same game over and over again this was pretty good since its pokemon and simple it makes the game catchy and something you can play for hours.
