An X-cellent Addition to a RPG Library

While this may not be my favorite Square-Enix game to have come out over the last few it definately holds it's own within the Final Fantasy Universe. Many RPGs have tried to utilize the battle system and visuals within this game but few have gotten even close. FF X is a masterpiece of story telling, graphics, and gameplay that will forever be a part of gaming history. I would recommend anyone who enjoys the traditional RPG formula.

After you've defeated Yunalesca at the Yevon Dome in Zanarkand and aqquired the airship, search for these locations by using the X and Y coordinates:

Baaj Temple X=11-16, Y=57-63
Battle Site X=39-47, Y=56-60
Besaid Falls X=29-32, Y= 73-76
Mi'hen Ruins X=33-36, Y= 55-60
Omega Ruins X=69-75, Y=33,38
Sanubia Sands X=12-16, Y=41-45

Blitzball Easy Win Bug

Whenever you are playing Blitzball, and currently are winning (i.e. your score is higher than the other team's) just swim behind your own goalie. Stay there and everyone else on the field will go to the other side and swim in circles. Sometimes, a member of the opposite team will follow you. Just shake him loose (breaking through him is an easy way) and he too will just leave you alone. Stay there for the remainder of the game and you will win.

awsome game. long story with a great plot that will keep you playing for hours. The plot in this game is very good and it keeps your interest well. I know with other RPG's got bored of playing them, but not this one. The battle system in this game is also very good. I would definatly reomend this game.

Nearly all Final Fantasy games hold a special place in my heart, but FFX is the cream of the crop. Providing plenty of gameplay and rich story, this is a must for any RPG player.
New to the FF series, voice acting makes up much of the game's dialoge and makes for a more rewarding, intimate experience as you come to know the characters.
The only thing from keeping this from a perfect 10.0 is some of the mindless 'grinding' necessary to unlock all the features and abilities of the characters. Highly recommended.

This is the first FF game I played and one of the few RPG's I have enjoyed. The characters are reasonably likable, even though the voice acting and FMVs can be a bit corny and annoying at times. The FMVs can't be skipped, which diminishes the replay value significantly (some of the FMVs are a couple minutes long). The turn-based attack system works very well and you will actually use most of your abilities at one point or another. The sphere grid system of levelling up works well and as you get closer to completing the game, there is a significantly higher level of customization that opens up a lot of new avenues. The Chocobo minigames are really annoying, but also really rewarding. Blitzball...fun, but gets old pretty quick. Enjoy.

This game branches out from the other Final Fantasy's played on the PSOne by introducing turn-based into the game. This is a tough thing to approach since it changes up the entire way to approach tactical gameplay. For me, it wasn't exactly the smoothest transition, but nonetheless, still a worthy game to add to your PS2 collection.

Wonderful game has all the aspect of other final fantasy games and more. As always with Final Fantasy a great story line not only abut saving the world but about love.

I bought my first PS2 in 2001 just so I could play this game. I had never played any RPG before this one, and quite honestly I compare every other one to this, a bit unfair but I can't help it. The story was captivating and I was hooked after I signed my first autograph. The problem I've encountered in a couple of RPGs is that I lose interest in the characters and the story itself, but not this one. I've logged well over 200hrs in 3 play throughs and I strongly recommend this to anyone who is interested in trying the RPG genre or to those who have played RPGs in the past.

This is the best game ever created, and has one of the greatest rating and all of the internet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The game has everything that a game needs, Warriors, Spellcasters, gigantic creaturs to aid you in battle, and best of all... the greatest story line ever created! All in all, a real
Role - Playing game fan needs to add this game to their colection. And if you think you won't like it, BUY IT!!! When I first got this game, I thought that it was going to be ok and all, but when I got into the game... OMG, I was hooked!!! This game is the greatest of all time. I really never like final Fantasy games till this one. This game has it all. Great story line, Gameplay, Characters and weapons. 1-5 this game is far by a 5 or more.

this is known to alot of people to B 1 of the best games around....its probly still is today....the storyline and the gameplay is very very good. anyone wit a PS2 or PS3 should get this hands down.....i cant belive this game was made in 2002 and still sells for $20

This game is my personal favorite because of the gameplay, and the story mode. this game offers everything u need. this game have more than expected side quest. mini games and huge amount of unlockables. i recommed this game to all. i give a 10.0 / 10.0 currently i played 120hrs+ of this game. can't get enough =D

Best FF of them all!

This has undoubtedly has to be the best ps2 game and final fantasy game, even better than 13, the story is so good and you just get involved in it, you play as blitz superstar Tidus, sort of like Beckam, and you start on your way to save the world os Spira and kill this thing called sin, which is your father. Towards the end there is a major plot twist that is genius. I reccommend this game to anybody that has a ps2, or now a ps3 which has backward compability. Just DO IT!!!!

Wow!!!

This is by far the best PS2 game. This game has great audio and great characters. This game brings a whole new meaning to the weird "INSANE". It has realistic graphics and characters. The main character, Tidus, is the coolest main character out of every game in video game history! This has a very futuristic setting. I recommend this game to everyone who owns a PS2. if you don't have this game you are missing out! This is one of my favorite games for PS2.

I have always loved Final Fantasy games they are always fun and interesting,but this one is always my favorite.It has a good story and it keeps you interested. I give it a 10/10.

This game is by far the most superb of all the FF's to date. I bought this game and played it every day! ^_^

Best FF out of all of them

This game is probably the best out of all the FFs. I love the battle system and how u can collect different aeons. I also like the secret weapons u can find. I've found a couple but not all of them. I also love the graphics and how the story line is. Why can't other FF games be like this 1.

I was so tickled to get this game. I even remember buying my playstaion 2 just so i could play this game.

Many loved this game, others hated it. My reasons for liking it so much was the graphics and story line. The voices were really done well, and great music. I enjoyed the game play as it seemed to flow nicely and kept things not very complicated as some RPGs tend to be.

The story line was really something of an epic. I even got a little choked up in the end...

This game took alot of time to fully beat. Like get all the best weapons,complete the sphere grid,and all the aeons.

But it had a good storyline until i played it like i did then it got kinda boring but all in all i give it a 3 of 5 stars

Final Fantasy X

I thought it was a great game. Ruby and Emerald Weapon were a major pain to beat, I never did beat Ruby Weapon even with cheating with a game shark. I never had the patience to try too hard since he was a boss that wasn't mandatory
