Game Description

In ancient times, there was a creature named Ryu who was part boy, part dragon. In his struggles to figure out his troubling past, Ryu encountered many an adventure some good and some horrifyingly bad. In BREATH OF FIRE III, you take on the role of the troubled hybrid as you encounter character after interesting character each with unique traits and personalities. Journey through a lush, detailed 3D world in this role-playing game of epic proportions, as you learn and trade spells and try to figure out the great mystery of your past. Unusually immersing, BREATH OF FIRE III goes where few games of its kind have gone before, adding a personal, involved storyline to an impressive set of environments and backgrounds. The character animations will have you floored, as each movement and characteristic resembles human behavior. There's a hilariously fun bonus mini-game included, which allows you to catch fish. You can trade the fish for more practical items in the game, or just fish for diversion if you get stuck in the main game. The game is for one player only, but you can always trade tips and tricks with your friends.
